Body Shop Nutriganics Skincare

Hello everybody!
Firstly I need to apologise. I am so sorry about how rubbish I have been on my blog recently. I had no clue it had been 2 months since my last post. I need to post more often! I will! I promise xx

Let's have a skincare chat, keep things varied. I'm a bit of a skincare addict. Always keen to try new things, and only recently I discovered the Nutriganics range from the body shop and was straight in there to try them out.

I got this in a lovely little set, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they only brought it out for christmas, who knows, I may be wrong!

Softening Cleansing Gel Oil:  (£10)
This is just amazing, it is a gel, which you massage into your skin to remove makeup. As you rub it in though it turns into an oil so it is extra moisturising. Lurve it!

Foaming Facial Wash: (£10)
This is a cool one. It's really basic and does the job you want it to do. I think it's really fun how it comes out foamy though. Makes washing your face exciting??

Refreshing Toner: (£10)
Someone asked me the other day what toners really do. I will explain. They remove any sneaky makeup that can't come off and really soften your skin when it feels a bit rough from the "paint" we throw on our faces each day. This toner does all of the things it claims to doing, (soften, smooth and revitalise)

Night Cream: (£6)
This is quite a thin moisturiser, but does some heavy duty stuff. I feel with this moisturiser that it really gets into my skin and hydrates it overnight.

Day cream: (£14)
I think this is very similar to the night cream, I find it less hydrating and more smoothing though. This is handy as it makes our makeup look more natural as we have a smooth canvas.

I really hope this has been helpful, I REALLY recommend these as they aren't too over priced and are so natural so make your skin a lot healthier.

I pinky promise that I will be back soon and not leave it another 2 months. You all deserve gold stars for being patient and not getting angry at me. You are amazing!

I hope you have had a really chilled out christmas and feel ready to go.

Please do leave me a comment telling me everything. Let's get to know each other! Xx

Christmas at lush!

Hello! I'm sure most of you will know, but earlier this month lush released there christmas stock! This was VERY exciting for me as my favourite two things are christmas and baths. Combined, I have no words.
If you can handle going into a lush shop then you may no the scents yoursef, but if you can't then I will tell you what they smell of so you can do a bit of sneaky online shopping. :)

Bubble time!!

Magic Wand: Snow fairy scent, but less strong. Smells of sugar and sweets. Stir around your bath for beautiful, light, fluffy bubbles.

Candy mountain: Again snow fairy, but quite powerful. Break a piece off and crumble under a running tap. It feels like your in a pink bath of sweeties.

Christmas Eve: I know, everyone tries to save this for Christmas Eve, but it's hard, mines normally finished by mid November. Smells quite florally with a hint of christmas spice.

Melting baths!!

Star light, star bright: A VERY glittery star that makes your skin unbelievably soft! Urhh I want to use it now. Smells of lovely wintery oranges. Sooo good!

Melting snowman: Legit, smells of christmas, and it has chocolate buttons on, so..... . If you get hungry in the bath?

Bath Explosions!!

Shoot for the stars: Turns your bath every colour imaginable and smells of flowers (best way to describe it)

Dashing santa: Smells yummy and spicy and Christmassy and looks sooo cool.

Father Christmas: One of my all time fave bath bombs. Smells quite like snow fairy and is pink inside so looks amazing in the bath.

Luxury lush pud: Yes you have all heard of it. Has little pockets of colour in that makes swirls of different beautiful colours floating around your bath. Smells of, I can't tell. Everything yummy!

Butterbear: This is so freaking cute. I love him so much. He smells of cocoa and is the most moisturising thing on this planet.

Shower gel!!

So white: invented because of the best bath bomb in the entire universe, yes you guessed it, it smells of fresh apples. Scrummy!

Hot toddy: Ok, imagine every smell you think of to do with christmas Ta~da! That's what it smells of. Kinda like mulled wine. Mmmmm!

So there you go, this probably was not at all useful as I am the worst at describing anything, but I hope you now know what things I really recommend.

Love you all and have an amazing halloween!! Hands up if your scared xx

Everyday makeup!

Hello everybody! I'm so sorry in how long it had been since I last blogged, been super busy but I promise it will never happen again. Hope you have all had an amazing October. Aren't the months just flying by?
I thought I might talk about my everyday makeup as trying to find budget items that really work can sometimes be a toughy, and I have thought long and hard, and personally I think all these products really are amazing!

Firstly, I prime. This is not a step u HAVE to take, but I feel it helps smooth over your skin so it is easier to apply face makeup.

Soap and glory feel good factor.

Next step is to apply foundation. Now, some of you lucky ones might not need to take this step, if so you are saving quite a bit of money. I'm jealous of you. My foundation is a medium coverage. :)

Bourjois healthy mix serum in light vanilla.

Then I conceal my under eye circles and the pesky spots I didn't ask for. Raise a hand if one appears overnight! So I use quite a high coverage concealer.

Bourjois healthy mix concealer (are you sensing a theme?)

Next up powder. Pretty sure this is the best powder I have EVER come across. Oh my word it's amazing. It keeps your makeup right in place all day. Very handy if I say so myself.

Yes you guessed it Rimmel stay matte powder.

Lastly in the face, just to add a bit of colour I blush and highlight. As I am quite lazy I get an all in one. Whoops. This just brightens up my cheeks and adds a healthy glow.

Revlon highlighting palette in rose glow.

Eyes now. Firstly I apply eye shadow. Recently I have been loving the Seventeen eye eye crayons. They are slightly shimmery and very easy to apply. All over my lid I apply the crayon in the colour iced. And in my crease I blend in molten metal.

For my eyeliner I normally put gel eyeliner on top and kohl on my waterline, but sometimes I just use kohl eye liner. I find the Seventeen smoulder gel eye liner is the easiest gel eye liner I've ever tried as sometimes it can be a little tricky to put on and I use the LP kohl eye liner pencil which is very pigmented  so easy to put on the waterline :)

Mazzy time! (Don't ever say that). Yes very predictable. Maybelline the falsies. I know it's always raved about, but yes! It's worth the hipe. So volumising. OH MY so good!

Finally lips. :* I go quite basic on these, some days I wear nothing because, just because. But if I a, making an effort I will moisturise my lippy's with Baby lips Hydrate. Then add a bit of burts bees lip shimmer in watermelon, and finish them off with barryM lip gloss.  And perfecto, done!

Sorry this is a lengthy one, but top marks if you've made it down here, making up for no blog in a month, sorry, :(.

Hope this has given you some tips. I wear very basic makeup as I like to look very natural. Have an amazing day, love you millions xxxxx x

Hello Autumn!

Autumn, the time people either love or hate. The idea of letting go of you t shirts and shorts for another year can be unbareable, but if I'm honest, Autumn is my fave time. So many exciting things to look forward to, and an excuse to do so many things that you can't get away with in the Summer time.

Let's talk "non beauty" first.
Say goodbye to lettuce, cucumber and tomato and say hello to brownies, cakes, hot chocolate, (the better foods). This time of year is perfect for doing a bit of baking of you favourite foods to share with the family. (Just a suggestion, you can eat it all yourself!)
But one of my favourite things of Autumn is sitting infront of the tv at 5:00, watching wintery films, drinking a cup of tea and watching the leaves fall. Can't picture anything better.
This is the season for christmas markets, and grabbing all your pressies before the last minute rush.
If this doesn't make you excited, then just picture CHRISTMAS!

Beauty time.
Autumn, the time to look and feel sparkly and beautiful.
When I think of beauty and cold weather, I instantly think, baths. Summer is a very much wash and go for me, so it's nice to enjoy my "wash" time in the chillier months, maybe add in a sneaky lush bath bomb and a scented candle, whilst you sip on your hot chocolate.
I always feel in the Summer time, everyone wears the fruity and floral fragrances, but I tend to enjoy the woody and spicy scents in autumn and winter, I also love vanilla. One of my favourite budget perfumes and body sprays are "Body Shop" fragrances and mists. I LOVE the honeymania one, but Body Shop bring in their christmas scents very soon, and I am a massive fan of their gingerbread scent. Makes me shiver just thinking of it.
My last favourite beauty thing about Autumn is very basic, dark colours. I wear plummy, cranberry shades on my nails and lips, as I think it suits my Autumn wardrobe better. I also love a bit of a smokey eye and darker blusher.

All of my favourite things about Autumn, put together, make me very happy and excited. Darker evenings are the perfect excuse to watch a film earlier than usual, and colder days DO mean you can have a hot chocolate. Don't feel guilty, you have reasons for it.
I hope this made you feel a bit better about the leaves turning and having to put on a coat.
Love you all and please feel free to tell me a bit about your fave autumn things xxx <3

Soap and glory reviews

You may well already know the brand Soap and Glory, if you don't, it is a bath and body company that also sells makeup and skincare, I highly recommend you look at their website 😊.
I wouldn't say I have LOADS of Soap and Glory products, but I thought I would share my opinion on the things I do have to help those of you who don't own any of their stuff, or don't own these items xxxx

Feel Good Factor
Feel Good Factor is a translucent BB cream that smooths over your skin and primes it before you put on you makeup. It has an extra handy SPF of 25, so you don't have to ruin your makeup by putting sun cream on over.
It smells amazing and really softens you skin, so I would rate it 3.5/5 😉
It costs £12.

Sugar Crush Shower Gel
Oh my goodness this smells amazing. The scent is lime, coconut and vanilla, and if, like me, you go for shower gel because of the smell, then this one is definitely for you. I have also used this as bubble bath and it makes really nice, big, foamy bubbles.
As well as an amazing scent, this body wash is also really moisturising. In my opinion this is worth 5/5
It costs £6.50.

Clean On Me Mini Body Wash
If I'm honest, I'm not the biggest fan of this body wash. It's in the scent original pink, which is my least favourite and I really wish it had an easier dispenser.
That being said, this tiny bottle lasts ages, but I have to rate it 2.5/5 😕 (sorry clean on me lovers)
It costs £2.50.

The Daily Soothe
The Daily Sooth is a really lovely bubble bath, that makes the most beautiful, soft bubbles, I take a handful of this product and run it under a tap in my bath.
I have moved passed the fact I don't like the smell of it. I would give it 4/5 😘
It costs £8.00.

Pulp Friction Body Scrub
A lot of people don't like this scrub surprisingly, it's a micro bead scrub, that's really moisturising and smells of fruit salad. What's wrong with that?
Can't talk about this scrub enough. I lurrrvvvee it. 4.5/5 😘
It costs £8.00.

Body Butters
Soap and Glory's body butters are some of the best I have ever tried. The riteous butter, is in the original pink scent, so, that is my least favourite. The butter yourself body butter smells just like the pulp friction scrub, so of fruit salad and the sugar crush body butter (my fave) is the same scent as the shower gel I raved about earlier. They are all equally moisturising and leave you skin so soft for atleast a day. These are easily a 5/5 😄😃😍
They cost £10.50.

I hope these reviews have been helpful, it is such a good brand that is worth the money any day. Xx
